Can diet really effect your chances of getting cancer?

I’m currently reading ‘The China Study’ by T. Colin Campbell. The front cover reads ‘One of the most important books about nutrition ever written..’ and at only 60 pages in I have to already agree!!

Campbell is a scientist brought up on a dairy farm and also had an invested interest in promoting ‘good protein sources’ to increase health of children throughout Asia. Trouble was that the wealthier children able to afford the recommended meats etc actually turned out to be the ones returning with higher rates of illness.
